One of the things that I get asked the most is where is the best place to do photos. There is no perfect answer to this, but I do have my favorite spots.

I am lucky to live in an area with lots of wonderful, beautiful parks and trails.

I am going to highlight The Howard County Conservancy in this post, and will move onto other locations in future posts.

One of my favorite spots at the Conservancy is the barn. It’s weather worn and has so much character! You can take photos inside and outside the barn doors.

Another of my favorite areas are the fields near the barn. All of the trails are full of colorful trees and flowers.

There are also some wonderful spots around main areas of the conservancy as well. They have so many tree providing beautiful filtered light.

The gardens always have something new in bloom, no matter the season, and who doesn’t love a bubbling pond full of frogs!

It’s a great place for photos, or just a walk with the family.  They also have goats and an owl!
